Shiv Tandav Stotram in English Lyrics and Meaning
The Shri Shiva Tandav Stotram was written by the Lankan king Ravana. Shiva's power, the way Lord Shiva's hair moves, the sound of his drums when he dances, and other details are all described in the Shiva Tandava Stotra. This hymn ends with lists of Shiva's attributes as the destroyer, even the destroyer of death itself, in both the ninth and tenth quatrains. In addition to being an avid follower of Lord Shiva, he was an expert in Navavyakarana or the nine forms of Sanskrit grammar.
